Fractions and Factors

How does knowing how to find the common factors and GCF help when you are putting fractions into lowest terms?

  1. Fractions are so hard to divide for me. I do not know how to reduce the to fractions so you can divied when the numbers are like 56/34 and 78/89.

  3. Knowing how to find the common factor and the GCF helps when putting fracion in lowest forms becauce when you are putting fractions in simplest form you need to know how to find the greatest common factor for the numerator and the denominator.

  4. fractions are hard to divide because its confusing!!!!!!!!!!!
    only adding fractions are easy for me.
    Its not the fractions that are hard is the division that i don't get!!!!

  5. I think dividing fractions is hard because you have to flip the denominator to the numerator.

  6. Fractions are like 2/3 -4/6 factors are what the number is times by to get that number .

  7. To find the greatest common factor is you have to divide to get the lowest common factor. And to get the common factor you divide the denominator and the numerator to find the common factor which reduces the fraction.

  10. Factors are like very easy for me.I can like do it in a second [i guess] , they were hard for me,when i was in the 5th grade but It got easy and easy now. Fractions are also easy but a little tricky for me.

  12. THIS HELPS ME BY REMEMBERING ANY OTHER WAYS SO IF I FORGET I CAN DO IT A DIFFERENT WAY INSTEAD. IT ALSO HELPS ME BY PUTING IT IN SIMPLEST FORM.
